I'm on a mission to make a card a day. Why, not? Everyone is need of a card someway am I right? Hopefully I'll find a quicker way to make them, perhaps it'll be easier once I buy a new printer..

Spring fair

So I must say its time for a blog update dont you think? Ive been pretty busy lately with everything, but wishing I had more time to paint.

I started working with textiles and making more elaborate card designs. I can say I'm doing well. Last Saturday was the Spring Fair at CCA (sorry I forgot to mention an open invite on here) but I thank those who came, and those who bought my stuff and gave helpful tips on where to go next. You have no idea how surprised I am with the outcome!...Perhaps you'll be seeing my cards and work in stores sometime soon... :) anyway here's some pictures for those who missed the Fair.

beatles and coloring books..

During the holidays, I attempted a beatles portrait painting(4 faces..yikes!) in acrylics because its been a long long time. Gotta say, it was good practice.

Also, made some dyi coloring books for my little cousins by revamping old illustrations. So far its kept me sane from developing post graduate syndromes..hah..however, I am itching to do more work..

Thesis! Ollie's Adventures in England

--okay, in case you havent heard, my thesis is based on some of my fun travels I had in England. Traveling has been a huge part of my life so I couldnt resist. My experiences are shared through a character I created named, Ollie (hedgehog). These pieces are actually postcards format, with captions on the backside. Once I get my self together, I will be selling them soon! Please feel free to comment in the meantime. Enjoy! Thanks.

update!

well, not much for an update...no scans at the moment, just been working really hard. Didnt know thesis would be so exhausting! Last week to get work done, scanned, get postcards printed..(yikes!), put promo pieces together, and then our final review.... I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel! OH my...wish me luck...
